This is a compact rangefinder camera from Okaya Kogaku.
It has interesting features, such as the mechanism for opening and closing the back cover, the on/off click feel for snap-shot focusing, and multiple exposure capabilities.
The film advance is a double stroke, and the shutter switch pops out and goes into standby mode after the second advance.
The shutter currently fires, but the speed seems questionable for the first few shots after taking it out of storage (the blades move slowly), so it may be starting to stick.
The rangefinder sometimes behaved strangely. There were times when the image movement wouldn't stop, but there were no problems with focusing before and after listing the camera. (Images taken with this camera in 2025: 8.9)
The frame counter is normal.
Film winding and rewinding were also without problems.
The aperture and focusing helix seem to be fine.
The included accessory is the original hood. This hood is also well-made and can be mounted in reverse.
